			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We were saddened to learn of the death of one of the true heroes of our century, a man credited with saving more lives than anyone in human history, Norman Borlaug, whose work in plant science developed a strain of wheat which helped double the worlds food production between 1960 and 1990.</p>
<p>The Nobel Peace Prize winner, and Texas A&amp;M proffesor will be sorely missed.</p>
